Our team took part in the European Researchers’ Night 2024, sharing Zephyr, our miniature supercomputer, with visitors at Hall A, Booth 11. This event brought together researchers, innovators, and the public for a day dedicated to science and discovery.
Zephyr, built with 18 Raspberry Pi units, offers a hands-on way to explore how supercomputers work. Visitors interacted with simulations, saw task processing visualized through flashing LEDs, and learned about the role of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in solving complex problems.
We also gave a presentation on Zephyr’s development and its aim to make supercomputing more accessible. It was great to see the interest in HPC and hear thoughtful questions from attendees of all ages.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by or supported us in this effort. Events like this remind us of the importance of sharing knowledge and sparking curiosity about the technologies shaping the future.
