The EuroCC2 project organizes the second “Industry Day” event, designed to foster engagement between Cypriot corporations and CaSToRC researchers. As the National Competence Centre in High Performance Computing (HPC), CaSToRC’s mission is to integrate cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), HPC, Computational Modelling and Data Analytics into the workflows of Cypriot enterprises. The EuroCC2 project offers a range of free services and collaboration opportunities to the local industry, including consultation, bespoke training and support to access and use of HPC resources.

Following the success of the first “Industry Day” event held in January’24, this event will include short presentations by successful Cypriot companies, at the forefront of technological advances. Bespoke companies participating in the event will include RetailZoom, Suite5, Hello Radius, Electi, Malloc, Efevre, Vet ex machina, Moving Doors,Novatex Solutions Ltd, ECECT, Intellar and Vettaky with expertise in cyber security, data analytics, AI, laboratory automation, in-house tech, software development and many more. The event will also include short presentations by CaSToRC researchers, showcasing applications of their research in HPC, AI/ML and High Performance Data Analytics, and providing a high-level overview of the technical expertise at the center. Representative examples of previous successful collaborations between our research center and Cypriot companies will also be highlighted. The “Industry Day” event will be followed by focused one-on-one sessions between CaSToRC and participating companies, which will enable in-depth discussions on synergies for collaboration.
